LANGUAGE ARTS SUPPORT
All students entering or returning to magnet schools, are expected to complete a reading log. Students should read a minimum of 30 minutes each day. You can download a reading log below or you can use your own way to document your summer reading.

RISING 3 - 8 READING SUPPORT
This summer , we compiled and created activities for a variety of reading activities hat support Florida Academic Standards for Packets are available aligned to standards for grades 2,3 and 4, to support rising 3-5 graders. In addition, summer ELA packets are available for rising middle school grades. You can use these as practice by completing a packet from the previous grade level standards ( for example - rising 3 packet is based off grade 2 standards). We recommend that even if your child is reading above the grade level, to beginning with standard review to assure in depth learning.
You can download and print the packets. Alternatively, you can use a notebook for responses to activities. If you need assistance, please contact your school.
